SUMMARY:Stuff-a-Truck (Nov. 8th)
DESCRIPTION:The United Way\, Rotary\, Knights of Columbus\, and the Kiwanis Club of Bradford are joining forces for an emergency Stuff-a-Truck Food Drive in response to the current SNAP benefits freeze — and we need volunteers to make it happen! \nOn Saturday\, November 8\, collection trucks will be stationed at Tops\, Save-A-Lot\, and Walmart. Volunteers will be asking shoppers to purchase extra groceries to help fill the trucks\, with all donations going directly to local food pantries through the United Way of the Bradford Area network. \nSign-up to help here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1-eZXsaBU_vdfw1byBY13hFd4s1kOPS_ndeCOWK1fkrc/edit?gid=0#gid=0 \nVolunteer Roles\nWe’re looking for volunteers to help with: \n\nGreeting shoppers and sharing information about the food drive and handing out lists of most-needed items\nCollecting and organizing donations\nLoading food into the trucks\n\nEvent Details\n\nDate: Saturday\, November 8\nTime: 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM\nLocations: Tops\, Save-A-Lot\, and Walmart (Bradford\, PA)\n\nThis event is a shining example of Bradford’s service clubs coming together in a time of need.
