SUMMARY:Kiwanis Kraft Days
DESCRIPTION:Families are invited to get creative during the return of Kiwanis Kraft Days\, taking place from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday May 2nd at the Bradford Area Public Library. \nHosted by the Kiwanis Club of Bradford\, the free events are open to children ages 4 to 18 and their families. Each session will feature ten hands-on craft stations\, offering a wide variety of activities designed to spark creativity for all skill levels. \nSeveral new crafts have been added this year\, including dot mandala painting on recycled vinyl records\, along with bracelet and keychain-making using colorful beads. Many popular crafts from last year’s event will also return\, following strong community turnout. \n“We were so pleased with the response earlier this year that we wanted to build on what worked and add a few new ideas\,” said organizer Nancy Dryden. “This event combines familiar favorites with some fun new projects.” \nThe Saturday session will focus on weaving crafts using paper and yarn\, with projects such as paper placemats\, bowls\, decoupage\, record mandalas and woven designs. \nKiwanis Kraft Days support the mission of Kiwanis International\, which is dedicated to improving the world one child and one community at a time. Organizers say the events are designed to provide a welcoming\, creative space where families can connect\, create\, and enjoy time together.

DESCRIPTION:Joint Service Club Dinner Meeting \nJoin us for the Joint Service Club Dinner Meeting on Tuesday\, July 21\, 2026\, at the Bradford Club\, located at 32 Boylston Street in Bradford\, PA. \nThis special evening will bring together members of local service organizations for fellowship\, conversation\, and community connection. Participating organizations include the Kiwanis Club of Bradford\, Rotary Club\, Zonta Club of Bradford\, AAUW\, Bradford Exchange Club\, Lions Club\, and the BHS Key Club. \nThe evening will begin with a social hour at 5:30 PM\, followed by dinner at 6:00 PM. Dinner will feature a heavy hors d’oeuvres buffet\, with coffee\, hot tea\, iced tea\, and water included. Please note that soft drinks and alcoholic beverages are not included. \nThe featured program will include the McKean County Fair Queen candidates\, the reigning Fair Queen\, and their advisor. Guests will have the opportunity to learn more about the candidates\, their community involvement\, and their candidacy for the Fair Queen title. \nThe cost is $32 per person\, which includes gratuity and sales tax. Reservations are due no later than July 15\, 2026. Cancellations received after the reservation deadline\, as well as no-shows on the evening of the event\, will be responsible for the cost of their meal.
